Aslan is our resident Muppet — full of boundless energy, humor, and an endless supply of silly antics. A grandson of BIS MBISS Novel Backroads Run For The Roses “Derby,” he follows in the footsteps of both his grandsire and sire, earning his championship quickly.

Always looking for a way to channel his considerable enthusiasm, Aslan also took naturally to agility. He learned quickly and enthusiastically, mastering his weave poles in a single day and proving that his energy could be put to good use. Since his retirement, he has found a new favorite outlet in hiking, happily joining us on adventures and exploring the trails with the same enthusiasm he brings to everything else.

As we began his health testing, however, Aslan was discovered to have a rare condition that immediately removed him from consideration for our breeding program. Given Meghann’s experience working in veterinary medicine, we knew the best place for him was right here at home — where he could live out his life as our forever-retired, happiest Muppet.

While Aslan may not have a breeding record or show record to share, his place in our program is no less meaningful. He is a cherished part of our Accio! team and more importantly, a beloved member of our family. His value to us has never been measured by titles, pedigrees, or what he could produce. Aslan’s greatest contribution is simply being Aslan — and bringing his particular brand of joy, humor, and Muppet magic into our home every day.
